I’ve decided to sell my main racing bike – the black Ceepo Venom. It’s served me well this year, but I will be on a new team/spons deal for 2011. If you are interested in then contact me at dcarter73@hotmail.com
I picked the (display) bike up in Jan (<1yr old) and have only used it for a small number of races (see below) and a couple of ‘familiarity’ rides, to keep it in top working condition. Gear shifting is very smooth using Shimano Ultegra groupset. Concord CKT tri-bars are very comfortable. It’s pretty mint but there are a couple of scratches on tri-bars from a mounted bottle cage (at Ironman UK). The selle italia saddle was from a previous bike and has light scuffing on the sides.
I am selling the bike without wheels, but if necessary I can at least provide a Planet-X 101 rear wheel, and possibly a Planet-X 40 front wheel to go with it – adding just a little to the overall cost. The bike will include everything else as shown including the 135g Selle Italia SLR saddle and the Speedfil Hydration system.

A full ceepo venom bike would retail around £4000-6000 depending on wheels (£2400 for just frame and fork) This bike has hardly been used and will shave a lot of time off your TT or triathlon races.
I’m happy to provide a basic fit with the bike if required. I would prefer pick-up only but can deliver in the local area (discuss).

12 JUN – V02 Classic Triathlon – 2nd overall
1 AUG – Ironman UK – 19th overall
It’s held well in all three races and I’ve felt fresher than normal from transition into the run. It’s very lightweight so can handle hills as well as the flat.
